Aloy is the protagonist of the Horizon video game series, developed by Guerrilla Games. Introduced in Horizon Zero Dawn (2017), Aloy is a Nora Brave, an outcast raised in the wilds after being inexplicably found as an infant.

Driven by a desire to understand her origins and find her purpose, Aloy embarks on a quest to uncover the secrets of the Old Ones – the advanced civilization that preceded the current tribal societies. She is exceptionally skilled with a bow and arrow, resourceful in combat, and possesses the Focus, a technological device that allows her to analyze machines and track enemies.

Aloy's journey leads her to confront powerful machines and unravel a conspiracy that threatens the world. In Horizon Forbidden West (2022), she ventures west to discover the source of a mysterious blight and face new threats to the ecosystem. A skilled hunter, a determined warrior, and a compassionate leader, Aloy is a complex character grappling with a legacy she doesn't fully understand.
